From presentations on the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence and Halifax Resolves -- two home-grown measures of patriotism and independence – that compared 1775-1776 with the political turmoil of today; to the question of Christians voting for a lesser evil which is still evil; to an expert review and analysis of North Carolina’s recent election results and what can be expected from the new governor and Republican-dominated legislature.
The year 2013 will be busy for the NC LS as we pressure this legislature and governor to resist Washington’s usurpation of power not authorized by the Constitution, and help them understand the meaning and intent of the Tenth Amendment.
